“Does anyone there speak Spanish?”
It is one of the questions our office hears most often on the phone. For many families, Spanish is the language they are most comfortable in, and when the conversation is about surgery, feeling comfortable matters.
The answer is yes. Dr. Edward Berzin speaks fluent Spanish, and so does a member of our front office team.
Why it helps to talk in your own language
Choosing a plastic surgeon is a personal decision. At a consultation you want to describe what you are hoping for in your own words, ask every question on your mind, and understand the answers the first time, without a relative translating for you. When you and your surgeon share a language, nothing gets lost along the way, and it is easier to ask the follow-up question you might otherwise keep to yourself.
Spanish from the first phone call
It is not only the consultation. Because a member of our front office team speaks Spanish, you can call, make your appointment and ask your practical questions in Spanish too. Then, in the exam room, you can talk through your goals and your options directly with Dr. Berzin.
Dr. Berzin also speaks fluent Russian, and Russian-speaking patients are just as welcome.

There will be forms to fill out. To save time, you can download them from our new patient forms page, fill them out at home and bring them with you. Please also bring your driver’s license so we can make a copy.

Por qué ayuda hablar en su propio idioma
Elegir a un cirujano plástico es una decisión personal. En la consulta, usted quiere explicar lo que busca con sus propias palabras, hacer todas sus preguntas y entender las respuestas desde la primera vez, sin que un familiar tenga que traducir. Cuando usted y su cirujano hablan el mismo idioma, no se pierde nada en el camino, y es más fácil hacer esa otra pregunta que tal vez se guardaría.

No es solo la consulta. Como un miembro de nuestro equipo de recepción habla español, usted puede llamar, hacer su cita y resolver sus preguntas prácticas también en español. Y ya en el consultorio, puede hablar de sus metas y sus opciones directamente con el Dr. Berzin.
